A wool x CORDURA crewneck built for hard use
ROAR HD CREW is a hoodless crewneck knit that prioritizes abrasion resistance, built for contact with backpack shoulder straps and rock. A regular fit with a slightly narrowed sleeve and chest, and a longer rib cuff. Kept to roughly 275g in size M/L for a comfortable balance of warmth and ease of movement.
A twisted yarn that balances abrasion resistance and warmth
A special twisted yarn made in Japan, combining hollow Octa® yarn with CORDURA® nylon and wool. It pairs wool's warmth with CORDURA® nylon's abrasion resistance, balancing hard-use toughness with everyday comfort.
Whole garment knitting that cuts down on waste
Knitted using whole garment construction, where the piece is knitted in one continuous process. While ordinary T-shirts and fleece typically lose 20-30% of fabric to cutting waste, whole garment knitting keeps this to about 6g of yarn scrap per piece, a loss rate under 5%. More complex sections are carefully finished with linking construction, joining knitted panels together.
Fit and details
- Fit: Regular (standard ease). Built for more active use within the series.
- Hoodless crewneck.
- Sleeve and chest slightly narrowed, with a longer rib cuff.
Sustainability
- The brushed portion uses wool, reducing microplastic shedding.
- Octa® yarn is left undyed, cutting CO2 emissions from yarn dyeing by over 50%.
- Brand tag, size tag, and care label use 100% recycled polyester made from PET bottles. Recycled materials are also used in other trims.
- Shipped wrapped in tissue paper instead of a plastic bag.
Care
Do not use fabric softener or bleach. Hand wash, or use a wash net on a delicates/hand-wash cycle. Be careful around branches, hook-and-loop fasteners, and similar snag hazards. Do not tumble dry or dry clean.

Measurements are taken flat. Center back length is measured from the center back neck to the hem, and sleeve length from the center back neck to the cuff. Actual measurements may vary slightly from the listed sizes.
