GOSSAMER GEAR
Gossamer Gear was founded in Carlsbad, California in 1998.
The brand name Gossamer literally means spider thread or transparent thin feathers, and Gossamer Gear is UL's pioneer brand. Founder Glen Van Peski's ideal lightweight and functional hiking backpack has become a hot topic and known to many hikers. In 2005, we moved to our current location in Austin, Texas, and have made it our product development base. <Gorilla>, one of our representative backpack products, is now in its 5th generation, and together with <Mariposa>, it has become a representative product of Gossamer Gear. Currently, the ultra-lightweight and durable material is mainly ROBIC ripstop nylon. Gossamer Gear 's products range from its main product, backpacks, to tents and accessories, making it an indispensable brand for hiking and fastpacking.
