A 100% recycled-material tee that layers patagonia's roots over a wave graphic
The Men's Great Waves Responsibili-Tee combines patagonia's name logo, a wave reminiscent of Hokusai, and the backdrop of Great Pacific Iron Works—the name of the brand's first store. It has an air that runs through both outdoor and surf culture, and the design stands on its own worn solo.
The fabric is a blend of 50% recycled cotton and 50% postconsumer recycled polyester. By using cotton scraps and recovered plastic bottles, it reduces reliance on virgin materials. It feels closer to cotton and is easy for everyday wear, and just as easy on travel days heading for the mountains or sea, at camp, or as a change of clothes after the descent.
A crew neck that works day-to-day and around the outdoors
It uses a classic crew neck with a rib-knit collar and taped shoulder seams. The regular fit feels natural—neither too slim nor too loose. It isn't a dedicated quick-dry running tee, but the fabric, which includes recycled polyester, has a lightness that plain cotton doesn't, making it easy to add to your bag for travel or hiking.
The graphic has presence, but the body is simple. It pairs easily with shorts, hiking pants, or denim—a patagonia tee that doesn't lean too far toward the mountains alone.
