The Women's Nano-Air Ultralight Full-Zip Hoody is synthetic insulation built to handle shifting body temperature during continuous movement in the snow or alpine. It pairs 20-gram FullRange insulation with a highly breathable stretch fabric, staying light enough at 215 g to wear all day. The water-repellent surface and warmth help limit the chill in wind and snow, while releasing heat on high-output climbs or traverses to prevent overheating.
A breathable, stretchy, abrasion-resistant shell and liner
The face and lining fabric is a 1.6-oz 30-denier 100% recycled polyester mechanical-stretch shadow ripstop. It stretches naturally with movement and resists abrasion from wear. The surface has a DWR finish made without intentionally added PFAS, shedding snow, mist, and light moisture.
20g FullRange where you need it, breathable panels under the arms
Lightweight, breathable, stretchy 20-gram FullRange insulation (recycled polyester) is mapped across the hood, shoulders, upper arms, chest, and back, warming your core and other exposed areas. Breathable recycled polyester double-knit panels (2.3 oz) sit under the arms, reducing bulk while quickly releasing heat and moisture so you can keep moving at pace.
Slim fit that stays out of your way, with a helmet-compatible hood
A slim fit stays trim under a harness or pack. Articulated patterning supports a wide range of motion, from reaching overhead to bending. The hood is a Light Touch expansion hood with minimal trim that passively adjusts fit with or without a helmet. A zipper garage on the front zip softens contact against your chin.
Carry and everyday use
A roomy but non-bulky chest pocket keeps essentials warm close to your body and also doubles as a stuff sack for the whole hoody. Once packed, clip it to a harness or pack with the carabiner loop.
Cuff comfort
Capilene Cool Lightweight fabric lines the underside of the sleeves. Its soft feel, high stretch, moisture-wicking, and fast-drying properties make it easy to push up your sleeves for detail work and limit that clammy feeling when you sweat.
Environmental and worker commitments
Main materials are made from recycled content, and the insulation uses bluesign-approved materials. Made in a Fair Trade Certified factory, where workers receive a premium for each item made.
