A hybrid that separates sweat-prone zones from cold-prone zones
The MOB Hybrid Hoody is a men's hoody that switches between MOB Wool and Axio 3D depending on the body zone. Aiming for a feel between the two fabrics, it is designed to balance ventilation and body-temperature retention during activity. It also works well on its own, suiting higher-output activities.
Fabric placement and intent
MOB Wool (88% wool / 12% polypropylene) is placed over the head and torso, where sweating is heaviest. Its excellent ventilation helps moisture escape so you can keep controlling body temperature without stopping.
Axio 3D (57% polyester / 43% wool) is placed at the shoulders, upper arms, waist, and underarms — areas that are slow to warm back up once they get cold. The idea is to cover these key zones against the chill that can creep back in during movement.
Hood and details
Like the MOB WOOL HOODY, the hood includes a ponytail hole. It lets tied-back hair pass through, so the hood interferes less even while worn, making it easy to use during running or climbing. The hood can also be worn as a balaclava, covering the face for use on windy ridgelines or while stopped, holding in heat.
How to use it
Taking advantage of its high breathability, it works well worn on its own for high-output activities such as mountain running. Depending on temperature and wind, it also handles well as a mid layer under a shell.
Weight is 230 g in size M. Its packable lightness makes it easy to fine-tune warmth to match the activity. This is the men's model (a women's version, the WS MOB Hybrid Hoody, is sold separately).
