A middle layer down vest built for versatile layering
PAPERSKY WEAR's MIDDLE LAYER DOWN VEST is a mid-layer down vest designed to work across a wide range of hiking seasons. Throw it over a shirt on high-altitude trips in early spring or summer, or wear it under a shell for extra warmth in autumn and winter — the moderate amount of down makes it easy to combine with other layers. The hem length is kept short, striking a balance that also works well on a bike.
The outer fabric is an ultra-lightweight, water-repellent nylon at just 46g/m². A special "Crinkle dye" process gives the surface a subtly textured finish without adding weight. The insulation is 700 fill-power Polish down (90% down / 10% feather), delivering efficient loft within a limited weight and thickness to guard against chill during activity and heat loss at rest. The lining is 100% nylon, which slides smoothly under a shell layer without bunching.
