Patagonia's Men's Dirt Craft Pants pair 4-way stretch with efficient venting to move with every pedal stroke. They stay breathable on the climbs and shed wind and light rain on the way down. Built for long trail rides, the fit, waist, and pocket placement are all tuned for on-bike usability.
Stretch and venting that stay out of your way
The fabric is a 4-way stretch weave that follows your hips and legs through every pedal stroke. Laser-cut vents on the inner thighs and behind the knees release heat from the areas that sweat the most, cutting down on overheating and keeping your rhythm steady on hard climbs.
Low-profile waist and a fit built for riding
A low-bulk zip fly with a button closure and a stretch waistband move with your body and sit cleanly under a pack's hip belt. The waist follows a natural curve at the hips with a tailored, slim fit that resists shifting and slipping while you pedal.
Pass-through pockets you can reach on the move
Zippered envelope pockets on both thighs keep valuables close at hand and in a secure position. They're built as pass-throughs that line up with the thigh pockets on Patagonia's Dirt Roamer liner bibs and shorts, making it easy to reach for snacks or a device mid-ride.
Materials and environmental approach
The fabric is a blend of 82% Ocean Cycle-certified 4.4-oz recycled polyester and 18% XLANCE, balancing light weight, durability, and comfortable stretch. The surface carries a PFAS-free DWR (durable water repellent) finish to shed light rain and mud splatter. The material is bluesign-approved and the garment is sewn in a Fair Trade Certified factory, where workers receive a premium for the goods produced.
Care
Machine wash cold. Do not use bleach. Tumble dry low and use a cool iron if needed.
