ltm ltm × [sn] Merino Poly 50/50 Sleeveless (Relaxed Neck)

The ltm × [sn] Merino Poly 50/50 Sleeveless (Relaxed Neck) is a sleeveless base layer built from an equal blend of merino wool and polyester, easy to reach for on hikes from spring through autumn.

Because the underarms are left open rather than covered by sleeves, it releases heat readily on steep climbs and warm days, and keeps the arms uncluttered when layered with a long- or short-sleeve hiking shirt. When you want a shirt over the top to shield your skin from sun and branches while keeping breathability underneath, this is an easy piece to work into that layering.

A slightly smaller armhole keeps it from looking too much like sportswear, paired with a simple design that works on the trail and in town. It is finished to be worn not only on its own, but also naturally as a base under a shirt.

The comfort of merino, the quick drying of polyester

The fabric is 50% Australian merino wool and 50% polyester. It draws on merino's temperature- and moisture-regulating qualities and its resistance to sweat odor, while the polyester adds quick drying and durability.

Compared with 100% wool garments, the construction is designed to dry faster once wet, making the material balance easy to bring on sweaty climbs, multi-day traverses where you wear the same base layer for days, and long trails.

The fabric weight is 143g/m². Set slightly lighter than a typical wool base layer, it stays light enough to be an easy summer base while avoiding becoming too thin.

18.5-micron merino, finished in Bishu

The merino wool used has a fiber diameter of 18.5 microns. Using fine fibers helps suppress the prickliness characteristic of wool, with care taken for next-to-skin comfort as a base layer worn directly against the skin.

The final finishing of the fabric is carried out in Bishu, one of Japan's leading wool-producing regions. Finished using soft water, it is given a smooth hand and a natural luster.

Compact spinning that suppresses fuzz

The yarn is made with compact spinning, a method that uses air to bundle the fibers and tuck the fuzz inward.

By suppressing surface fuzz on the yarn, it brings out a smooth hand and good color, and takes care against the pilling that can occur on blended wool-and-polyester fabric. It aims to be a fabric that is easy to wear repeatedly not only for hiking, but also for travel and everyday life.

The 2026 Relaxed Neck, with added room at the collar

For the 2026 model, without greatly changing the fit of the previous model, the collar has been narrowed to widen the neck opening by roughly 5mm.

It eases the sense of pressure around the neck and updates to a Relaxed Neck spec that looks a little more relaxed as well. It releases heat more easily when temperatures are high, and suits a style worn with the front of a hiking shirt open.

A four-panel body that follows the curves

The torso uses a four-panel construction combining the front body, the left and right sides, and the back. Rather than a flat two-piece front-and-back structure, it is designed to follow the curves of the body, reducing pulling and fabric bunching when you move your arms.

The sewing uses flatlock seams, which keep the ridges of the seams from standing out. This reduces bulk when worn directly against the skin, with care taken for comfort during long hours on the move with a pack on your back.

Details considered for movement on the mountain and everyday looks

The armhole is designed not to open too wide, unlike a typical tank top. It keeps the freedom of movement that sleeveless offers while not making the underarm area look too exposed, tuned so the silhouette stays natural even when the hiking shirt comes off and it is worn on its own.

The length is considered so the hem is less likely to ride up when the hip belt of a pack is cinched or when you raise your arms. It balances usability as active wear with how it looks worn untucked in town.

The "ltm × [sn]" collaboration logo sits quietly at the left hem. Rather than putting function front and center, it is a piece that connects easily from the mountains to travel to everyday life.
