The K7 Earflap Cap is a unisex fall/winter cap with earflaps built to protect your ears from the cold. The wool-based fabric eases the chill around your ears even in cold wind, supporting comfort on the move.
Turning leftover fabric into value: the "ZANTAN Project"
Teton Bros.'s "ZANTAN Project" turns leftover fabric from garment production into new products. This cap uses leftover "kenana" wool fabric from making the FARALLON SHIRT for its earflaps — left uninterlined on purpose, so you get the natural softness and drape of the kenana wool as-is.

The earflaps are built to fully cover your ears. The wool-blend fabric protects your ears even on a cold, windy ridge.
Fabric and performance
The body fabric is a blend of 70% wool, 15% polyester, 10% acrylic, and 5% nylon. It offers moisture-wicking, stretch, antibacterial/odor-control, and pilling resistance, staying manageable through sweat or repeated use.
Care
Dry cleaning is recommended to preserve the fabric's character. If hand-washing at home, gently squeeze-wash with a neutral detergent — no fabric softener or bleach. Some color transfer may occur, so wash it separately, and reshape after washing and dry in a shaded, well-ventilated area. Remove any pilling promptly.
