There are a variety of materials used in stuff sacks on the market, but I feel that most of them are made of silnylon.
In my early days of hiking, I mostly used silnylon stuff sacks.
The reason for this was that it was lightweight and easy to obtain. However, when I actually used it, I found that because of its slippery nature, I frequently changed my position in the backpack when packing, making it difficult to organize my belongings. From this experience, I gradually began to refrain from using silnylon stuff sacks.

Then I came across a stuff sack made from Dyneema® Composite Fabric. I decided to try making it myself and when I tested it, I was very satisfied with the results. Dyneema® Composite Fabric stuff sacks are much less slippery than silnylon, giving you more stability when packing. Furthermore, I was surprised by its strength and durability.

I don't really like the unique squishy feel of air pillows, so I often use a stuff sack as a pillow, but with the silnylon one, it slipped every time I turned over, making it difficult to sleep. .
However, with stuff sacks made from Dyneema® Composite Fabric, such problems are less likely to occur. In particular, when storing soft items such as the closing part, when used with the zipper side facing down, it functions as a comfortable pillow.

The material used in this product, Dyneema® CT5K.18/wov.32c, is characterized by the fact that the more you use it, the more it wrinkles and becomes softer. The wrinkles are added and the overall material shrinks slightly, causing the zipper to wave. The creases in the gusset will disappear and the corners will become rounded. Of course, even if you reach that state, you can still use it and it will continue to change. It's one of my personal favorite materials.

Material

The material used is "Dyneema® CT5K.18/wov.32c".

This material is composed of a woven fabric using 50 denier polyester on the front side, a middle layer of 0°/90° UHMWPE (*1) fiber, and a polyester film on the back side. Although it is lightweight, it is extremely durable and waterproof (water pressure resistance of 20,000 mm or more). Hybrid laminated with polyester woven fabric, it has excellent tear strength and puncture strength, making it a sturdy material.

(*1) UHMWPE is an abbreviation for Ultra High Molecular Weight Polyethylene. Ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene is polyethylene that has an average molecular weight of 1 million or more, has excellent slip properties, wear resistance, and is classified as an engineering plastic with high strength.

The fabric is very stiff when you first use it, but as you use it, it wrinkles and becomes more supple. (Due to the characteristics of the material, there will be creases from the time of purchase.)

The zipper has a nylon tape handle with the brand logo printed on it.
