A 6-inch short with room to move and enough to run in
The Goldwin Breathable Active Shorts are baggy-cut running shorts made for everything from trails to roads.
They use a light ripstop fabric that is breathable and water-repellent, with an inseam of roughly 6 inches in size 3. Unlike a tight racing short, the silhouette has room in it, paired with details that keep the fabric out of your stride.
They work well for days when you run the road and continue straight onto trail, or when you want to run in the mountains without looking fully kitted out in race gear.
Deep side slits keep a baggy cut moving
Deep slits sit at both sides. When you drive your legs forward and back, the hem is less likely to restrict the movement, which lets the roomy silhouette and running mobility coexist.
The hem is bonded rather than stitched, reducing bulk against the skin for a clean, light finish.
Light ripstop with breathability and water repellency
The fabric is a thin 100% polyester ripstop.
It breathes to release heat while you run, and repels light rain and splashes. It is a material chosen with changeable weather and ground conditions, as in trail running, in mind.
Note that while the fabric is water-repellent, this is not a waterproof garment.
Three pockets sized for running
A zipped pocket sits at the centre back of the waistband and takes a smartphone. Two more pockets at the hips carry gels and other food.
From short road runs to trail runs where you carry your own nutrition, it covers the case where you want a bit of storage in the shorts themselves.
One pair from road to trail
A not-too-short 6-inch length and a baggy cut, combined with the mobility, breathability and storage running asks for.
Rather than committing fully to speed-focused road running or to mountain-only shorts, they carry over naturally to running that moves between pavement and trail.
The Goldwin logos front and back are reflective, with visibility in darker hours in mind.
