Trail Bum BIG TURTLE SPECTRA

The Big Turtle is the smallest, simplest, most minimalist and ultra-lightweight backpack in the Trail Bum lineup. This version is made of ripstop nylon material made from Spectra, an ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene fiber that is highly resistant to abrasion and impact.

Simple body structure

It features a simple body structure reminiscent of a knapsack. Not only have there been as few stitching points as possible, but the thin design with no gussets also ensures that the backpack remains stable even when the shoulder straps are tightened and the backpack fits snugly against your back.

Wide shoulders for load distribution

The wide shoulders distribute the load evenly across the surface, just like other TRAIL BUM models, but the thickness of the cushion is kept to a minimum to accommodate the small capacity. The soft, thin shoulders fit snugly to the hiker's body.

Large front mesh pocket

The main body has no gusset and comes with one large front mesh pocket. It has more storage capacity than you would expect, such as storing rain gear, water bottles, headlamps, and first aid. If you make good use of this pocket, you can not only stay overnight in huts, but also expand the possibilities for overnight hikes in SUL style.

Single fastening strap

When it was first released, we focused on keeping it simple, without even a strap, but we changed it to the current style with a strap to improve stability when worn on the back. Just by tightening the single strap, the stability of the luggage is dramatically improved.

Thin gusset: Prevents luggage from shifting to the bottom, allowing you to carry even a small amount of luggage in a balanced manner. The structure is designed to be thin and therefore less prone to swaying from side to side.
