STATIC AIRY WRIST WARMER is a simple hand warmer made with premium wool yarn. It covers and warms the wrist firmly while leaving the fingertips exposed, so fine operations and dexterity are not compromised. It's an easy piece to use whenever you want to warm your hands without repeatedly putting on and taking off gloves — relaxing in a mountain hut or tent, or while driving.
Balancing fingertip dexterity and warmth
By focusing insulation on the wrist, where body heat tends to gather, it eases the cold while preserving freedom for the fingertips. You can keep it on while operating a phone, checking a map, cooking, or writing without interrupting the task. It requires little effort to put on and take off across activity and rest, making it a handy extra layer to carry along.
Knit optimized with two types of yarn
Body: loop yarn blended with wool and alpaca for softness
The body uses a special loop yarn that forms multiple loops within a single strand during spinning. Blending alpaca into a wool base creates a plump texture and a smooth, lustrous feel. The loops within the yarn trap plenty of air, delivering efficient warmth for the weight.
Wrist rib: extra-fine 15.5-micron wool for high loft
The wrist section uses extremely fine 15.5-micron wool fiber. Special spinning produces a plump yarn whose fine surface pile gives it higher loft than a typical yarn of the same weight. Trapping ample air boosts warmth while keeping the feel soft and gentle. It fits snugly to the wrist, holding in heat effectively.
Environmental consideration
Made with a low-waste manufacturing method, the brand tag, size tag, and care label use 100% recycled polyester from PET bottles. Sub-materials are also switched to recycled materials, and it ships wrapped in tissue paper rather than a plastic bag.
Care
Do not use fabric softener or bleach. Hand wash, or use a laundry net on a delicates/hand-wash cycle. Do not tumble dry or dry clean.
