The WOOL MESH T-SHIRT LONG SLEEVE is a unisex long-sleeve mesh tee knit from a blended yarn of premium merino wool and recycled polyester. It balances wool's moisture regulation, polyester's fast drying and the skin separation of its mesh structure, holding comfort in active situations that call for airflow.
How moisture regulation, fast drying and skin separation work together
In high-intensity exercise, a typical wool tee can become saturated with sweat, growing heavy and clinging to the skin. This shirt pairs a mesh structure built for moisture release with fast-drying polyester, so it holds less sweat and keeps a dry, skin-separated feel. Wool's natural odor resistance is retained, helping keep smell down over long stretches of activity.
Comfort and durability built with ultra trail distances in mind
Even through long, demanding efforts in changing conditions, this piece is designed to resist clinging to the skin and hold a dry feel. The polyester blend also adds fabric strength, balancing durability with the ease of handling that long, high-intensity activity demands.
Recycled polyester: NIKKE AXIO
The polyester is NIKKE's recycled AXIO material. HERENESS had followed AXIO's performance since before the brand launched, but held off at first because it was only available in virgin fiber. With NIKKE's cooperation, a recycled version became available, making it possible to combine performance with environmental consideration.
Choosing non-mulesed merino wool
All of the wool is non-mulesed merino from New Zealand. New Zealand has banned mulesing (a procedure that removes skin from around a sheep's hindquarters) at the national level, and HERENESS continues to engage with animal welfare issues. It's a choice that considers the story behind the material, not just comfort.

- Some shrinkage and pilling may occur due to the nature of the material.
- Use a laundry net when machine washing.
- Do not tumble dry.
- Do not use chlorine or oxygen bleach.
