A 94g half-zip pullover that combines venting and storage

The patagonia Women's Houdini Stash 1/2-Zip Pullover is a lightweight shell built from 1.2-oz 100% recycled nylon ripstop. It weighs 94g. It is a hoodless half-zip with a regular fit. The fabric carries a DWR (durable water repellent) finish made without intentionally added PFAS, so it sheds light moisture.

Beyond the thin, light fabric, it has three slits that release heat while you move and two side pockets for a phone and small items. The zippered left chest pocket holds valuables and also serves as the space the pullover stuffs into.

Key features

The shell uses an ultralight 1.2-oz 100% recycled nylon ripstop. A DWR finish made without intentionally added PFAS sheds light moisture. This is not rainwear: the functions are narrowed to what a lightweight shell needs.

Storage is the two side pockets and the zippered left chest pocket. The side pockets are sized for a phone and other small items, and are taped. The left chest pocket holds valuables, and the pullover itself stuffs into it.

Slits are placed at the left chest, the right chest and the center back to promote ventilation. Openings on the back as well as the front make it easier to release trapped heat while you wear it. Combined with opening and closing the half zip, you can adjust airflow with the shell still on.

A zipper garage sits at the top of the half zip. It keeps the zipper hardware off the skin and reduces chafing around the neck, without adding much weight.

The two side pockets, the chest pocket and the three slits separate storage and ventilation into different places. Because the pullover stuffs into the chest pocket, you do not need a separate stuff sack to carry it.

Made in a Fair Trade Certified factory in Vietnam. Machine wash cold and tumble dry low. Do not bleach and do not iron.
