A waterproof mid-cut with the stability for long days
La Sportiva's Ultra Raptor 3 Mid Woman GTX is a women's mid-cut hiking shoe that covers everything from everyday hikes to fast hiking and long trails. A structure that wraps the ankle raises support and helps keep out small stones and gravel.
Even as a mid-cut, it is designed with freedom of movement in mind, making it easy to reach for when heavy, stiff boots feel awkward to walk in, or on trips where you want to keep a steady pace for hours.
A waterproof-breathable lining and a durable upper
The upper uses a recycled ripstop mesh chosen for durability and breathability. A rubber toe cap and rand placed from the toe to the sides protect your foot from contact with rocks and roots.
The GORE-TEX ePE Extended Comfort lining holds off water from rain and wet ground while releasing moisture from inside the shoe. The ePE membrane is a material with no intentionally added PFAS.
Stability underfoot that doesn't rely on cushioning alone
A midsole combining a soft cushioning material with a compact EVA at the heel balances the cushioning and stability needed for long walks. A TPU heel counter supports the heel and reduces wobble on uneven ground and traverses.
The FriXion® White outsole uses the Impact Brake System™ and a 4.5mm lug. It considers traction on climbs and control on descents, while flex grooves keep your foot moving easily over rocks and steps.
