A removable-bib pant that packs everything you need for skiing and splitboarding into one piece
Teton Bros.'s TB Pant (Men's) is a bib pant built for skiers and splitboarders. Designed to work as a system with the matching TB Jacket, it keeps you comfortable from a sweaty skin track to the descent. This season the bib panel has been updated to a softshell fabric, improving stretch and breathability. The silhouette is neither too slim nor too baggy, and the stretch-driven cut keeps big leg movements from being restricted.
Removable bib and a waist zip
A zipper running all the way around the waist lets the bib and pant separate instantly. Remove the bib and it becomes a pant with belt loops, so you can switch depending on the season or conditions. The waist zip can be operated with one hand, making it easy to use even when you need to relieve yourself without taking the bib off.
Bib front storage
The bib front carries two pockets: a large zip pocket on the left big enough for a map or gloves, and a Velcro-closure pocket on the right sized for a radio cord without getting in the way, optimizing access from the front.
Shoulder strap comfort
The Velcro on the shoulder straps has been switched to a softer-against-the-skin type while keeping vertical holding power, so it's gentler on wool and other base layers during long days out.
A D-ring for everyday handling
A D-ring is fitted to one of the belt loops, letting you clip on gloves you've taken off or other small items for quick access while waiting for a lift or taking a break.
Right thigh pocket organization (device and beacon ready)
The right thigh pocket has an inner pocket that holds a digital device such as a smartphone vertically and secure, plus a loop for an avalanche beacon. This season the beacon holder's opening has been resized for easier access.
Ventilation that lets heat out fast
Water-resistant Vislon zippers on both thighs provide ventilation, with double sliders so you can fine-tune the opening's position and size—useful anywhere from venting heat on the climb to adjusting your temperature before a run. Used together with the TB Jacket's ventilation, it helps release heat from the upper body efficiently too.
Left thigh pocket
The left thigh carries a simple zip pocket, handy for food or small tools you reach for often.
Hem protection and fit
The hem width fits ski and snowboard boots, with a powder gaiter built into the inside. A liner in the same material as the gaiter has been added where boot buckles tend to cause wear, and the edge guard uses a high-strength nylon to handle contact with ski or board edges.
Fabric, weather resistance and weight
The fabric is 70DX2 Tamak (100% nylon for the face, lining, and edge guard). It's waterproof-breathable, abrasion-resistant, and stretchy, with C6 DWR to keep moisture out. Weight is about 720g in a men's medium. A pant built around a balance of mobility, durability, and weather protection.
