A relaxed pant pairing a cotton-like hand with mid-weight recycled polyester
The STATIC BEBOP MD PANTS is the mid-weight pant in the BEBOP series, which links the mountains and the street seamlessly. The fabric has the natural hand of cotton while the material is 100% polyester. Recycled content is 70%, the fabric weight is 224g/m², and the garment weighs 410g in size M.
The fit is Relax+. A silhouette with room around the body is paired with a mid-weight fabric. It takes easily to the seasons when you feel a chill, and it is built for everything from daily wear to active use, in the manner of the BEBOP series.
A construction that takes details from old climbing pants
The sewing uses the felled seams long found on climbing pants, and a gusset crotch sits at the inseam. Ease of movement is not left to the roomy silhouette alone: the structure around the crotch takes its details from climbing pants as well.
Storage matched to what people carry today is added on top of that, rebuilt as a STATIC work pant. Classic pant details and storage suited to current use are brought together in one garment.
An easy-pant waist and several pockets
The waist is an easy-pant construction. Inside the right hand pocket there is a key loop. A patch pocket sits at the back, joined by a zippered security pocket sized for a smartphone. Small items can be kept apart from each other.
The zippered security pocket is a detail that secures a place to store things separate from the ordinary patch pocket. Rather than gathering everything into one pocket, you can divide by use.
A hem drawcord for adjusting the silhouette
A drawcord is built into the hem. Pulling it changes the shape around the hem, so the roomy Relax+ pant can be tuned to taste. You can wear the BEBOP MD PANTS with its volume intact, or cinch the hem and change the shape.
A polyester fabric with 70% recycled content
The material is 100% polyester, of which 70% is recycled content. By using recycled polyester, STATIC works toward cutting CO2 emissions in yarn production.
Cutting waste from production is sent to recycling rather than incinerated, and the garment itself is built as a circular product that can go to recycling once it is worn out. Trims are chosen with environmental impact in mind, and the move away from individual plastic bags is under way. The country of manufacture is Japan.
