This is a base layer type pocket T-shirt made from merino wool by BAMBOO SHOOTS. While most base layers are designed to be snug, this one is intentionally oversized so it can be worn loosely on its own. It has a relaxed silhouette that works well whether layered under a shirt or worn alone in summer, with Y-joint sleeves from the shoulder. The fabric is 53% wool and 47% polyester (including 30% COOL MAX), combining the soft feel of extra-fine merino wool fibers with the excellent moisture-wicking properties of COOL MAX. This material composition is suitable for spring and summer hiking, as well as layering for trail running and fastpacking, where you tend to sweat a lot.
The neckline and armholes are finished with binding, making it resistant to losing shape after repeated washing. It can be hand-washed at home and is made in Japan. It features a small patch pocket on the chest.
