The Men's River Rambler Hybrid Sun Hoody is a versatile sun hoody built for fly fishing and other water-based activities. It offers moisture-wicking performance, breathability, quick drying, and stretch, with UPF 40+ equivalent sun protection to keep you comfortable under strong sun. A hybrid construction that moves with your body is paired with small details that come in handy on the water.
Features
Hybrid fabric with UPF 40+ and moisture-wicking performance
The body uses a lightweight stretch woven recycled polyester, while the sleeve panels and hood use a jersey of the same material. Both offer UPF 40+ UV protection and moisture-wicking performance, drying quickly when wet to reduce discomfort during activity.
Removable hood and snap-closure collar
The hood comes off easily when head protection isn't needed, converting to a snap-closure stand-up collar. The collar resists flapping on windy days, and can be stood up for extra sun protection at the neck. The snaps are corrosion-resistant and suited to use on the water.
Storage built for the water
Two vertical chest pockets with corrosion-resistant zippers are sized to hold a passport or fly box and are quick to access.
Built-in lens cleaner
A patch sewn at the front hem lets you wipe down polarized or sun glasses on the spot. The lens-cleaner fabric is bluesign-approved.
Thoughtful details
A slightly longer hem and sleeves help keep the shirt in place during activity. A forceps holder on the sleeve keeps a tool within easy reach.
Materials & care
The body is a 3.5-oz 100% recycled polyester stretch weave, and the sleeve panels and hood are a 3.5-oz 100% recycled polyester jersey. Machine wash cold. Do not use bleach. Tumble dry low and use a cool iron if needed.
