A lightweight, stretch waterproof hat that keeps your view clear in the rain
The Laramie Rain Hat is made from Stretch Cordura Super Durable 3L (100% nylon), a waterproof, durable, stretch fabric — the same material used on the Laramie Rain Cap. It balances light weight with toughness, so fit and ease of wear hold up on wet-weather hikes and climbs.
A brim that keeps your view clear, with fine-tuned fit
An EVA foam core runs through the front of the brim, so it resists collapsing in the rain and keeps its shape to shed water — helping keep your view clear around the face. A drawcord lets you cinch the fit quickly, and hook-and-loop at the sweatband gives finer adjustment. The removable chin strap can be put on or taken off depending on wind and activity.
Light enough to carry everywhere
At about 50g, it packs down small enough to fit in a spare corner of a backpack — easy to keep on hand alongside your rain gear.
About the fabric
Stretch Cordura Super Durable 3L combines waterproofing with stretch and high durability. It moves with you and holds up to abrasion, while staying lightweight to reduce fatigue over long days out.
Care
Use a neutral detergent. Don't leave it wet for long periods. Reshape before drying. Avoid strong rubbing or ironing directly on printed areas; use a pressing cloth if ironing.
