Lens Types
・GYP Lens: Polarized lenses that cut reflected light and maintain clear vision.
・PGY Lens: Photochromic lenses that change brightness depending on the amount of UV light.

Polycarbonate Polarized Lenses

Polarized lenses are more effective at cutting glare and reflected light. These lenses contain a special film called a polarizing filter that cuts reflected light. The major difference from regular sunglass lenses is that polarized lenses reduce light intensity and cut only reflected light, a key feature in providing more comfortable vision.
For more comfort and better vision.
To ensure long-term stability and safety under adverse conditions, and to withstand high temperatures and strong impacts, we selected polycarbonate polarized lenses as the ideal choice for all sports scenes.

Photochromic Lenses

Photochromic lenses change their brightness depending on the amount of ultraviolet light. When exposed to strong UV light outdoors, the lenses darken, and when in places with weak UV light, such as indoors, they lighten. The material used is polycarbonate, which is characterized by its extreme resistance to breakage (over 30 times stronger than acrylic). Even if it breaks, it is also resistant to shattering.

Its safety is so high that it is used for airplane windows, making it the highest class of impact resistance among plastic materials. It is difficult to shatter even when hit with a hammer and is sometimes used in bulletproof materials.

Frame & Flexible Temple Arms

The frame material is TR-90, developed by EMS in Switzerland.
It is a lightweight material with excellent elasticity, shape memory, heat resistance, and moisture resistance.

It is also characterized by its resistance to degradation and long lifespan.
The temple arm tips (end-pieces) of TYMER products contain a wire frame, allowing their shape to be adjusted by warming and slowly applying force.
The end-pieces significantly affect comfort and fit, so they are designed to be adjustable to the optimal shape for each individual.

Nose Pads

TPR is used for the nose pads that touch the skin.
TPR material, with its rubber-like properties, oil resistance, and weather resistance, provides a gentle and comfortable fit against the skin, as well as excellent grip for active use.

Like the temple arms, the nose pad arms are also adjustable, designed to be changed to the optimal shape for each individual.

Temple Rubber

TPR is used on the inside of the temple arms.
The temple rubbers come in different colors depending on the model.
TPR material, with its rubber-like properties, oil resistance, and weather resistance, provides a gentle and comfortable fit against the skin, as well as excellent grip for active use.

Hinge (5-Barrel Hinge)

Kanghua nickel silver is used for the barrel hinges. In addition to nickel silver's characteristic corrosion resistance, it boasts high strength at high temperatures, making it an excellent alloy widely used in both corrosive and high-temperature environments.

Furthermore, a 5-barrel hinge is used, instead of the typical 3-barrel. This construction is robust and strong against vertical forces and twisting.
