Introducing a lightweight sleeping bag that combines titanium sputtering nylon and Octa® CPCP®
Among STATIC's products, the Adrift Liner is loved by many users for its functionality and ease of use. It is a single Octa sheet, so it has high breathability and is basically used in combination with a sleeping bag cover.
When the weather is stable and the temperature is high, there are many situations where a sleeping bag cover is not even necessary, so we set out to develop a sleeping bag that can be used on its own while retaining the soft feel of Octa.
What you get with the classic Adrift Liner 230g + "70g"
The shell fabric is a super lightweight 10D recycled nylon fabric with a special technology called "titanium sputtering" that is coated with a super thin film. By applying a metal coating to the back side, it reflects body heat and provides a high thermal insulation effect.
The Adrift Liner with Octa single layer weighs 230g, while the Adrift Ti Sleeping Bag weighs 294g, a difference of about 70g. Although it is not waterproof, the 70g increase in weight provides a high level of insulation and versatility. Also, it is resistant to water, which is unique to synthetic fibers, and can be easily washed at home.
Like the Adrift Liner, it is a hoodless model, so it can be combined with hooded insulation for a lightweight and crunchy mountain hike, or combined with a down sleeping bag in winter as a simple VBL liner...it is a product that will stimulate the user's imagination.
We use an advanced technology called "sputtering," which sprays molecular-level titanium onto nylon fabric, to apply an ultra-thin titanium coating to the nylon fabric without losing the original lightness or breathability of the fabric.
The weight of the fabric remains the same, but the titanium coating reflects body heat more effectively, providing excellent heat retention.
*About titanium peeling
Due to the characteristics of the material, the titanium coating may peel off if rubbed against sharp objects such as fingernails or a watch, or if repeatedly subjected to strong friction.
Titanium coating can peel off if it comes into direct contact with the skin or if it is rubbed repeatedly in a humid environment such as sweat, but this product has Octa's brushed fleece layer, so there are almost no parts that come into direct contact with the skin, and since it is a tool with low friction when loaded, the risk of peeling is reduced.

Octa®CPCP® recycled material used
Octa® fabric is made from two types of fibres: polyester woolly fibre and polyester hollow octopus fibre.
Of this, 53.6% of the woolly yarn has been replaced with recycled polyester (ECOPET®), reducing the environmental impact.
46.4% is ordinary polyester hollow octopus cross-section yarn.
By using recycled polyester, compared to virgin polyester Octa®CPCP®, the use of recycled polyester reduces CO2* emissions during fabric manufacturing by 23%. (*Calculation by Teijin Frontier Co., Ltd. CO2 emissions from raw materials (polymers) to fabric shipment)
What is Octa®CPCP®?
Octa®CPCP® is a mesh fleece material that combines the outer mesh material with hollow polyester fiber with irregular cross-section that acts as a heat retaining material. This polyester fabric is characterized by its lightness, warmth, and good heat dissipation. It is usually used as a lining, but for STATIC, it is used as a standalone fleece.

- Heat insulation: The dead air contained in the space created by the hollow section and eight protrusions provides a heat insulation effect.
