A dedicated footprint that protects the tent floor from abrasion against the ground

The NEMO Dragonfly OSMO™ / Dragonfly Bikepack OSMO™ Footprint is a dedicated footprint laid under the floor of the matching tents. It keeps the tent base from rubbing directly on grit, hard soil and rocky sites, reducing wear on the floor fabric.

The material is 100% recycled 75D polyester. It is a bluesign® approved fabric, and adding one abrasion-resistant layer under a thin tent floor is meant to keep the tent itself in use for longer.

A dedicated shape matched to the floor of the compatible tents

Rather than a general-purpose sheet, it is cut to the floor shape of the Dragonfly OSMO™ and Dragonfly Bikepack OSMO™. It avoids letting fabric extend further around the tent than needed, holding down the extra material and weight that a footprint adds.

Laying a sheet larger than the tent causes rainwater to collect on the sheet and run under the floor. A dedicated item sits within the tent base, covering only the area you want to protect.

75D recycled polyester protects the base

It uses 75D recycled polyester, heavier than the tent's own floor, adding a layer between the ground and the tent that takes the abrasion. On sites with a lot of stone and sand in particular, the load of pitching and of turning over in the night rubs the floor against the ground, so adding one footprint reduces wear on the tent itself.

It has a waterproof layer, putting one more protective layer between damp ground and the tent floor. It is an accessory for protecting the base from scuffs and abrasion, and does not replace the waterproofing of the floor itself.

C-clips at the four corners

C-clip attachments at the four corners fix it to the matching tent. The attachment method is compatible with both current and past models.

A dedicated drawstring stuff sack is included, so it packs separately from the tent body. That makes it easier to carry a footprint home separately when it comes back wet or covered in soil.

Keeping the tent light while making the part that wears easy to replace

Because the Dragonfly series is a light tent, the footprint is a separate accessory you add according to the site rather than something always required. You can leave it behind on prepared ground and add it where floor abrasion is a concern.

Instead of thickening the floor itself and carrying that weight all the time, a dedicated footprint lets you add a protective layer only when you need it.
