NEMO Vantage™ 30L Endless Promise®

A 30L travel backpack that keeps clothes and shoes separate

The NEMO Vantage™ 30L Endless Promise® is a 30L backpack that gathers your daily load plus a change of clothes and shoes into one bag. A duffel-style main compartment that opens wide, an independent bottom compartment, a tech compartment for a laptop and tablet, and a top pocket let you divide the load by use.

It follows the same Endless Promise® material thinking as the 20L and 26L, but the 30L differs in its storage structure. Even on short trips and overnight travel where the load grows, you can reach the place you need directly rather than only stacking things in from one direction.

CERO™ fabric raises body strength and water resistance

The pack body uses CERO™ fabric made from 100% recycled PET. By NEMO's published figures it has up to twice the tear resistance and up to 1.5 times the water resistance of typical pack fabric. The inner coating is also PET, a material design less prone to the peeling and tackiness of hydrolysis than a typical PU coating.

The material diagram shows a 300D x 600D Oxford construction with a PET coating. At 30L the total load grows, and so does the stress on the body. CERO™ supports durability as a bag used again and again, not just its carrying capacity.

A back panel and shoulder straps using CCubed™

CCubed™, used at the back and shoulder straps, is a cushioning material made from 100% recycled PET with 97% of its volume being air. It wicks sweat and lets it evaporate readily, working to keep heat and moisture from building at the back and shoulders.

Wide, flexible shoulder straps and the back shape combine to secure contact area when you carry a 30L load. CCubed™ is placed to match where you sweat most, wicking sweat and letting it evaporate. Developed as an alternative to conventional foams, it also avoids the harmful offgassing that comes with their manufacture and disposal.

A hidden back pocket and a suitcase sleeve

Behind the back panel is a hidden pocket for a passport, cards and similar items. It is a structure that puts valuables on the body side, apart from the large main compartment.

Between the back panel and the body of the bag there is also a sleeve for the telescoping handle of a suitcase. At an airport or station you can set the bag on top of a rolling case and fix it there.

A chest strap for when you are walking

The chest strap is there for when you need it, and stows inside the shoulder strap when you do not. Because it also detaches, you can leave it off day to day and fit it for long walks or when the load is heavy.

A duffel-style main compartment that opens wide

Unlike a typical backpack that opens only at the top, the 30L main compartment opens lengthwise in duffel style. You can lay the bag down and see the whole load, so there is no need to empty everything above to reach what went in at the bottom.

Inside are two zippered mesh pockets, keeping small items and anything you want to see separate. A large single space combined with smaller organization areas makes clothing and travel items easy to gather.

A bottom compartment for shoes and dirty gear

The base of the bag has an independent zippered compartment. Shoes, worn clothing and anything else you would rather not have touching the main load go in separately. Dividing the storage means you carry them without packing them into the same space as clothes and electronics.

Separate storage for a laptop and tablet

The tech compartment carries a padded sleeve that takes a 15-inch laptop and a tablet sleeve. The laptop sleeve sits slightly away from the back panel, a placement that keeps hard hardware from pressing directly into your back when carried. It also helps the bag stand on its own when set on the floor.

It is storage that carries electronics apart from clothing and other gear. When you want just the laptop on the move, you reach it without opening the main compartment.

A top pocket for what you use right away

The top carries a pocket for immediate access to a phone, keys and the like. A key hook and an organization panel keep small items from dropping into the large 30L compartment.

It also has mesh pockets on both sides that take a bottle, an umbrella or a light layer. Rather than using the 30L capacity only on the inside, what you reach for on the move can be spread to the outside.

Endless Promise® links long use with recycling

The Vantage™ 30L is part of the Endless Promise® collection, gathering its main components into PET-based materials. Keeping the CERO™ body fabric, the inner PET coating and the CCubed™ cushioning within one material family makes separation and recycling easier at end of life. It is a monopolymer construction that reduces the work of separating mixed materials by keeping the main ones in the same PET family.

Behind that is the premise of being hard to break first, and repairable enough to use for a long time. Combining CERO™ with its tear and water resistance and CCubed™ as a foam alternative brings performance during use and reducing waste into the same product.
