The THE NORTH FACE Runners Reflect Crew is a crew-length running sock that covers road running, trail running and everyday training.

Its defining feature is retroreflective yarn around the ankle. It reflects light from sources such as car headlights, with visibility in mind for early morning and night runs.

Beyond the reflective yarn, arch support underfoot, cushioning at the toe and heel, and a dot pile built for airflow gather the features you need to keep running into a single sock.

Retroreflective yarn at the ankle

Retroreflective yarn is used in the ankle section of the crew cuff. It reflects brightly when light hits it in dark conditions, aimed at raising your visibility on night and early morning runs.

It suits runners who often move in the dark, whether that is short winter days or shifting to early morning and evening runs in hot weather.

Note that reflective material is an aid to visibility and does not guarantee safety.

A double-layer ankle for better hold

The ankle section is built with a double layer of fabric. It considers how the sock feels against the skin while adding hold so it is less likely to slip while you run.

A dedicated knit structure further limits sock movement during running, prioritising a stable fit that does not shift underfoot.

DotPile underfoot for airflow

Rather than a thick pile across the whole footbed, the sole uses DotPile, with pile placed in a dot pattern.

It keeps a reasonable level of cushioning while the gaps between the pile allow air to move. The structure balances cushioning and ventilation for running, where heat and moisture build up inside a shoe.

Cushioning added at toe and heel

The toe and heel, which take the load on landing and toe-off, use a pile construction.

Adding thickness where it is needed softens the impact of landing, without making the entire footbed thick.

Arch support underfoot

Arch support runs through the instep, wrapping the foot to a moderate degree and supporting it while you run.

A high-gauge knit gives a fit that follows the foot, along with the durability to hold up to repeated running use.

DEORANGE antibacterial and odour control

THE NORTH FACE's own DEORANGE antibacterial, odour-control finish is applied. By limiting the growth of odour-causing bacteria on the fibre, it holds odour down.

Since sweat collects inside your shoes during running and trail running, it is a useful feature in a sock you wear again and again.
