MILLBRAE is a small, gentle-looking Boston-style frame.
Its brown lens is dialed in just right—neither too dark nor too light. It strikes a balance between the high contrast that brown lenses are known for and a tint that never goes too dark.

"The eye is an exposed organ": why UV care matters

Just as you put sunscreen on your skin, your eyes need protection too. UV damage accumulates in the lens of the eye and can hasten cataracts and presbyopia. What's more, UV entering through the eyes signals the brain to "produce melanin," which can bring on skin spots and tanning. Protect your future eye health—and your skin—with sunglasses that block 99.9% of UV.

About the polarized lenses

By blocking scattered light, the polarizing function not only clears up your view but also eases eye fatigue. An AR (anti-reflection) coating on the back of the lens further reduces the internal reflections caused by sunlight sneaking in through the gap between the frame and your face. And because the lens is polycarbonate, it protects against UV while staying safely shatter-resistant even under a hard knock.

GY (Gray)

The standard, for enjoying the scenery just as it is.

A standard gray lens that naturally softens glare alone without shifting the colors of the scene. Especially recommended for those who dislike glare but want to enjoy the scenery's colors as they are, and for anyone using polarized sunglasses for the first time.

  • Character: minimal color shift, a natural view

  • Best for: hiking, running, everyday use

  • Visible light transmittance: 15% (ideal for bright, sunny daytime)

BR (Brown)

A capable lens that boosts contrast and makes terrain easier to read.

The highest-contrast lens in the lineup, it sharply defines the outlines of what you're looking at. Because it makes light and shadow read clearly, the subtle bumps of ground and grass rise up as shadow—ideal for checking your footing on the trail. Neither too dark nor too light, it keeps your view from sinking into gloom even on cloudy days or in slightly dim forest, coming into its own when you're moving aggressively.

  • Character: the highest contrast; makes bumps in ground and grass easy to see

  • Best for: hiking, trail running, fishing

  • Visible light transmittance: 20% (handles daytime through cloudy skies)

Lt.GY (Light Gray)

A bright lens for enjoying the scenery just as it is.

A standard gray lens that naturally softens glare alone without shifting the colors of the scene. Being slightly brighter than regular gray, the light gray won't go too dark on cloudy days, at dawn and dusk, or on forested mountain trails.

  • Character: a bright, near-naked-eye view; minimal color shift; a natural view

  • Best for: hiking, trail running, everyday use

  • Visible light transmittance: 30% (handles a wide range of weather)

No pinch, no slip.

The temples use a special resin with a spring-like elasticity. This "suspension function" gently flexes to match the shape of your head, doing away with the pinching discomfort sunglasses are known for. Combined with a unique "3D hold design" that wraps around your head, it fits gently yet grips surprisingly well. It won't slide off through the bounce of running or a sweaty spell, for the ultimate feel that lets you forget you're wearing anything at all.

Magnetic storage system

A signature of FLOAT is its unique "base magnet" system. Using the included magnetic suction cup, you can stick your sunglasses neatly to a car window, an entryway mirror, and the like.

No more "where did I put my sunglasses?"—it's a smart way to manage a pair that's otherwise easy to misplace.

A smart "neck-rest style" even when you take them off

When the forest closes in and your view darkens, or you simply want to slip them off, MILLBRAE can hang right around your neck. The distinctive temple shape catches at the collar and holds steady, like a necklace. It saves the fuss of digging out a case and reduces the risk of setting them down and losing them—a genuinely practical feature.

A durable, new system

The frame and the temples (LOCK TEMPLE) come in separate packages, but they connect in a single action—an intuitive joint you simply push into place. It reduces the wobble and wear that come from repeated on-and-off, holding a stable feel over the long haul. And because the temples swap out easily, repairs are no hassle either.
