A 68g lantern for the tent site or the back of the car
The GOAL ZERO LIGHTHOUSE MICRO FLASH is a compact LED lantern that sits in the palm of your hand.
It weighs 68g and measures roughly 93 x 37.75mm, small enough to carry to wherever you need it: inside a tent, at a rest stop, or sleeping in the car.
A 150 lumen LED sits inside, and the button on top switches between three lighting modes including a flashlight. Brightness is adjustable, and run time is roughly 7 to 170 hours depending on the setting you use.
A lantern and a flashlight in one
There are three lighting modes. Use it as a lantern to light the space around you, or switch to flashlight when you need to see ahead.
Brightness adjusts as well, so you can light just your hands inside a tent, or open it up when you want more of the space lit.
Up to 170 hours of run time
The built-in battery is a 9.62Wh lithium-ion cell with a capacity of 2600mAh.
Run time is roughly 7 to 170 hours. Dropping the brightness lets it run for long stretches.
A USB connector built into the body
A charging USB connector sits in the base of the body.
There is no separate cable to connect: plug the body straight into a USB port to charge. USB charging takes about 3.5 hours.
It also charges from a Goal Zero solar panel
It works with Goal Zero solar panels sold separately, such as the Nomad 5.
Charging with a Nomad 5 takes about 3.5 hours. Where there is no USB power, a compatible solar panel will do the job.
Before the first use
The unit ships in demo mode, so it switches off after a few seconds if you simply turn it on.
Charging it once over USB clears demo mode, and it then works normally.
