The Small footprint, with height added
The L.L.Bean BOAT AND TOTE TALL / SMALL is a taller take on the classic Boat and Tote.
The width and depth of the base stay the same as the Small, while the height extends to roughly that of the Medium. Capacity is about 12 litres, adding room upward rather than outward.
Longer handles for your shoulder
Handle height is about 23cm, long enough to carry over a shoulder as well as by hand.
The handles are load tested to approximately 226kg. Overlaps are finished with double stitching in strong nylon thread.
24-ounce cotton canvas
The body uses durable 24-ounce cotton canvas. The base is a flat style reinforced with canvas.
Made the same way since 1944
The Boat and Tote was released in 1944 as a bag for carrying blocks of ice, and it is still made at L.L.Bean's own factory in Maine, USA.
