Knit from premium wool yarn, this simple insulating knit glove is reliable from everyday wear to the mountains. STATIC AIRY GLOVE is built around lightness, warmth, and a gentle feel against skin. Easy to use for commuting and errands, as well as for mountain approaches or as an inner glove during a hike, it's the kind of piece you end up reaching for often.
15.5-micron wool for loft and a gentle touch
It uses extremely fine 15.5-micron wool fiber, spun by special processing into a plump yarn. The yarn surface is covered in a fine pile created by fine fibers, giving it higher loft than a typical yarn of the same weight. The yarn traps plenty of air, forming an insulating layer that helps hold warmth at the hands. At the same time, the feel against fingertips is soft, with itchiness kept to a minimum.
A basic design that works in the mountains and in the city
The undecorated, basic knit pairs easily with any outfit, and is easy to use both on its own and as an inner layer. Weight is about 50g per pair (size M basis). Easy to carry, it's a quick option against the cold during a break or at the start of an approach.
Touchscreen-compatible thumb and index finger
The thumb and index fingertips use touchscreen-compatible yarn, making it easy to operate a smartphone without removing the gloves. Apart from the fingertips, the construction stays simple without unnecessary flourishes. The thickness layers comfortably under a shell glove without compromising ease of movement during activity.
Environmental consideration
The knitting process uses a low-waste method. The brand tag, size tag, and care label use 100% recycled polyester from PET bottles, and sub-materials are also recycled. It ships wrapped in tissue paper rather than individual plastic packaging.
Care
Do not use fabric softener or bleach. Hand wash gently, or use a laundry net on a delicates/hand-wash cycle. Do not tumble dry or dry clean.
