Light, warm, and resists heat buildup during activity
The STATIC ADRIFT NECK WARMER is a close-fitting neck warmer made with Octa®CPCP®. At just 19g, it balances light weight with ample warmth, releasing excess heat that builds up during activity through its mesh structure. It's easy to carry and easy to use in any season.
How the Octa®CPCP® mesh fleece works
Octa®CPCP® is a mesh fleece fabric that integrates an irregular cross-section hollow polyester brushed fiber, which forms the insulating layer, into a mesh face fabric. It's a polyester fabric that combines light weight, warmth, and good heat release, and while this material is usually used as a lining, STATIC uses it as a standalone fleece.
How the two layers work together
The brushed, irregular cross-section hollow fibers create a fine layer of air against the skin, while the outer mesh releases heat and moisture — a two-layer structure that keeps you warm while resisting overheating. It fits closely along the neck without creating gaps, stays comfortable while you're moving, and is easy to bring into year-round layering.
Balancing warmth and heat release
- The dead air formed by the hollow cores and eight ridges works as heat shielding, insulating efficiently even though it's thin.
- The mesh surface releases excess heat outward even while you're moving, resisting heat buildup.
- It's moisture-wicking and quick-drying, so it stays comfortable even when you sweat.
- It feels about half as heavy as polyester fiber of the same diameter, so the close fit around the neck doesn't feel burdensome.
Environmental consideration and made in Japan
53% of the fabric has been recycled since fall/winter 2023. Compared to virgin polyester Octa®CPCP®, this cuts CO2 emissions during fabric production by 23% (calculated by Teijin Frontier Co., Ltd.). It's produced at an OEKO-TEX®-certified factory in Japan, and dyeing uses biomass (plant-derived) sources instead of petroleum. Fiber waste generated during fabric production is also recycled. Trims are considered too: the size tag is 100% recycled polyester from PET bottles, the care tag is 100% cotton lawn, and the brand tag is 50%+ recycled polyester.

- Hand wash, or use a laundry net on a delicates/hand-wash cycle.
- Do not tumble dry or dry clean.
