High removal performance - effectively filters bacteria and parasites

The filter uses a hollow fiber membrane arranged in a U-shape. The 0.1 micron holes physically block bacteria and parasites (such as echinococcus). This makes it possible to remove 99.99999 % of harmful bacteria and microorganisms.

*Chemical substances, viruses, heavy metals, etc. dissolved in the water are not removed.

Safety - Passes inspections in Japan

River water collected from the midstream of the Tama River (Chofu City, Tokyo) was filtered using the Sawyer Mini, and a third-party organization conducted water quality testing for 11 items based on the Water Supply Act. The results showed that the water met the standards for all items.

Easy to maintain. A long-lasting water purifier.

After use, you can restore the filter's functionality by backflushing it with clean water from the opposite direction using the included cleaning syringe (without needle). This will restore approximately 98% of the filter's performance , making it possible to use it repeatedly.

*If you feel it is clogged, try backflushing multiple times.
