The finetrack Polygon UL Vest (WOMEN'S) is an insulated piece for active use that balances moderate warmth with light weight. Built to focus on keeping the core warm, it layers easily as an L3 mid-layer during cold seasons, and in warmer seasons it packs down to a pocket-sized piece you can carry as backup insulation. A fall/winter 2023 renewal improved how well it follows the body's movement, helping it stay comfortable even while you keep moving.

Two sheets of "Fine Polygon®" that keep their loft even when wet

The insulation uses finetrack's proprietary three-dimensional sheet insulation, "Fine Polygon®," with two sheets built in. It holds its loft even when wet from sweat, snow, or condensation, limiting the drop in warmth during activity in cold conditions. That makes it dependable on outings where sweating or changing weather is likely.

A balance of moisture handling and breathability that resists stuffiness

The lining uses a hydrophilic coating to move sweat away quickly, while the face fabric offers moderate breathability, so moisture management works across the whole garment. As a vest, it doesn't restrict arm movement, making it well suited to managing temperature and moisture while on the move.

Link Vent® for quick ventilation

Equipped with Link Vent®, which lets built-up heat escape from inside the garment easily. It's easy to use when you want to fine-tune airflow, such as on a climb or when temperatures rise.

Light at 110g and packable

Just 110g. The packable design lets you stow the vest itself in the inner right pocket, compact enough to fit into gaps in a pack. It's an easy piece to carry for warding off chill at rest stops or as an extra layer in the early morning or evening.

Just enough pockets

Hand pockets on both sides (no zipper) and inner pockets on both sides (no zipper). The inner right pocket doubles as the stuff sack.

Where to use it

In cold seasons, wear it as an L3 mid-layer over a base layer to ease the chill when stopped. In warmer seasons, keep it in your pack and add it quickly when altitude or changing weather brings the temperature down. It suits situations where you want to warm just the core efficiently.

Handling notes

To balance light weight with performance, this item uses an extra-thin fabric. Repeated friction, hook-and-loop fasteners, branches, and contact with hard objects can damage the fabric. Please handle it with care.
