Lightweight, Compact, Foldable Cup Born in Sweden
WILDO's Fold-A-Cup is a collapsible outdoor cup that has been manufactured for over 40 years without changing its design.
When in use, it becomes a cup with a capacity of approximately 250ml, and after use, it folds flat to a height of about 3cm. Weighing only about 25g, it's an easy item to incorporate into mountaineering, hiking, camping, as well as fastpacking and long-distance trails where you want to keep your gear as light as possible.
Made from a soft and elastic material, it prevents scratches to other gear in your backpack and can be stored together with cookers, kettles, and single burners. Although it's a small cup, it's widely useful in the mountains for drinking beverages, holding trail food, brushing teeth, and drawing water.
Simple Structure Continuously Used for Over 40 Years
The Fold-A-Cup is WILDO's flagship product and the reason the brand was founded. Since its development over 40 years ago, it has been continuously used in outdoor fields around the world without significant changes to its basic shape.
Its simple structure allows you to pull up the tab inside the cup to raise the folded sides, making it ready for use as a cup. There are no complex parts or assembly, so it can be quickly deployed when needed.
Its functionality and design are classified as a practical work of art by the Svensk Form Copyright Panel, a copyright protection body within the Swedish Society of Crafts and Design.
Approx. 25g Lightweight and Soft Material for Easy Storage
Weighing approximately 25g, it's not a burden to carry in a backpack and its size makes it easy to fit into gaps in your gear.
Unlike metal cups, it's made of soft resin, so it's less likely to make noise when it comes into contact with other gear like cookers and bottles, and it's less likely to scratch other equipment. It can be flexibly stored to suit your packing needs, such as inside a coffee kettle or together with cooking utensils.
The slightly larger "Fold-A-Cup Big" can be stacked when folded. Even when carrying multiple cups, storage space can be minimized.
Foldable Structure for Easy Carrying Even When Wet
After use, the sides of the cup can be folded inwards, retracting the rim into the interior. This design prevents water droplets from spreading outwards even when the cup is wet, making it easy to carry after use.
The overall rounded shape makes it less likely for dirt to remain in corners, and it's easy to wash. It's also dishwasher safe.
Green Line Incorporating Plant-Derived Raw Materials
Models developed as part of the Green Line use 50% plant-derived TPE (thermoplastic elastomer). By incorporating plant-based polyamide and castor oil as part of the raw materials, the aim is to reduce the amount of fossil-derived raw materials used and the carbon dioxide emissions during manufacturing.
TPE is a thermoplastic material that combines the flexibility and elasticity of rubber with the ability to be reshaped by heat. The products in the Green Line incorporate not only lightness and storability but also an approach to reducing environmental impact through material selection.
Desert colors use PP (polypropylene). Both materials are BPA-free.
