The Big Turtle is the smallest, simplest, most minimalist, and ultralight backpack in the Trail Bum lineup. A new model using the ULTRA200X has been released for the Big Turtle, Trail Bum's signature product!
ULTRA 200X is a new material containing 67% ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene (UHMWPE). It is composed of 33% fully recycled high-strength polyester laminated with a film with a water pressure resistance of approximately 140,000 mm. This material has excellent abrasion resistance and impact resistance, and provides high durability while being lightweight.
The BIG TURTLE ULTRA200X has a stronger fabric stiffness and is easier to pack than previous models. It also has advantages in durability, UV resistance, and resistance to aging.
Normally, as durability increases, the weight increases proportionally, but the backpack weighs 320g, which is only 70g heavier than the ripstop nylon Big Turtle (250g).
The basic shape remains the same, but the top part has a different design than before. This is different from the Big Turtle. The conventional model is a drawstring type. The ULTRA200X also features a roll closure. Buckles can also be added to both sides (sold separately).

Wide shoulders: Lightly padded for better load distribution and comfort.
Fewer stitching points: Fewer points to break and easier to repair. A feature typical of UL backpacks.
