This frying pan is made of HAA (hard anodized aluminum), not the typical Teflon-coated kind, and is more similar to a cast iron frying pan, but easier to use.
By applying a coating to its surface, HAA has a microstructure that makes it similar to a highly conductive ceramic.
Compared to cast iron pans, HAA pans are lighter, less prone to rust, and have more even heat conduction.
It also cools down quickly after use. Comes with a removable handle.
It can also be used as a Dutch oven when used with the FIREBOX camping plate or cowboy plate.
Seasoning (oil) before use is required. Instruction manual included.
