Infinite possibilities for twisting yarn
"AYUKAN®" TWISTED YARN
Twisted yarn is yarn made by twisting multiple threads together. There are hollow hand-knitted threads made from one type of thread, and threads made by twisting different types of threads together, such as polyester and wool.
In addition, the hardness and strength of the twisted yarn changes depending on the number of times it is twisted, so it is a highly skilled technique to finely adjust the twist while imagining the final product, and to complete the twisted yarn through repeated trials. Furthermore, twisted yarn that has been brushed or processed into a special shape or other special treatment is called "designed twisted yarn."

Octa® x wool "AROUSAL" series born
STATIC has focused on this design yarn twisting technology and has created "AYUKAN" yarn, which is made by twisting wool into hollow undyed Octa® yarn. AROUSAL has created a thick base layer fabric with a pile-like interior. The lineup includes relaxed fit shirts that are perfect for winter base layers and hiking.
