With a blade length of 59mm and a blade thickness of 2.0mm, the "Eldris LightDuty" is an exceptionally compact knife within the Morakniv range. Despite its palm-sized form, it's an EDC knife offering practical utility perfectly suited for everyday use.
Its main appeal is its portability as a neck knife, allowing for immediate access when needed. Whether for gardening, DIY projects, or kitchen tasks, this knife handles like a utility cutter. It also excels in outdoor settings.
Simple and easy-to-handle blade
It features the same stainless steel blade as Morakniv's classic "Companion." With a simple design that intentionally omits features like fire-starting, its appeal lies in its ease of use for everyday tasks and its high cost-performance.
The steel used is recycled stainless steel from Sweden's Alleima (formerly Sandvik). This sustainable steel, made from over 80% recycled materials, is meticulously processed in our own factory. The sharp cutting edge, achieved with a Scandinavian grind, is also maintained.
Handle designed for comfortable grip
The ergonomically designed barrel-shaped handle features a light finger guard for a secure, non-slip grip. Its symmetrical design allows for comfortable use by both left and right-handed individuals.
The sheath securely locks into the handle's recess, preventing the knife from falling out even when inverted. Furthermore, by threading a paracord through the hole at the bottom, it can be used as a neck knife. This frees up both hands, enhancing work efficiency.
