"The piece you naturally reach for every morning." The ltm × [sn] relaxed-fit merino action T
A 2026 model from a collaboration between ltm, led by mountain YouTuber Kotaro, and [sn] (Super.Natural), known for merino daily wear. Building on the previous wool-blend tee, the silhouette is pushed a step further toward relaxed, so it works equally well layered or worn alone. If movement is your top priority, reach for the previous model; if comfort and ease matter more, this is the one. The fabric drapes naturally away from the body, keeping a relaxed fit from looking careless. It's just as much at home as active mountain wear as it is daily wear around town.
A pattern and details that stay out of your way while moving
Y-joint sleeves, shoulder seam shifted back
The sleeves use a Y-joint construction that expands shoulder mobility. Even with a big arm swing, the hem resists riding up, cutting down on the small annoyances that build up during activity. The shoulder seam is also deliberately offset toward the back, so it resists rubbing against a backpack's shoulder straps, even on a long day of hiking.
Balancing the neckline and sleeve length
The neckline sits slightly wider than the previous model. It keeps air moving around the neck — a spot that traps heat quickly during exertion — while still looking tidy. The sleeves run a five-quarter length, between short and long: enough to warm your arms as elevation rises and the temperature drops, and easy to roll up when it heats up.
Length and hem
The body length is intentionally a bit longer, so your lower back stays covered when you bend over, and it keeps a base layer underneath sitting neatly. The hem is finished in rib knit, adding both a visual accent and a cleaner fit. A modest ltm × [sn] collaboration logo sits on the lower left.
Why 50% merino / 50% polyester
The material is 50% merino wool and 50% polyester. Pure wool regulates temperature well, but its slow drying time is a weak point — in rain or at altitude, it can even raise the risk of hypothermia. This piece blends in polyester to speed up drying while still drawing on merino's warmth, moisture control, and odor-conscious properties. At 18.5 microns, the merino is fine enough to feel soft against the skin, staying comfortable even over long wear.
The yarn uses compact spinning to keep fuzz down, giving a uniform, smooth surface. Even as a wool-poly blend, it resists pilling, so it keeps looking clean for longer. With less fuzz, dye bonds more fully, producing deeper, richer color. Fabric weight is 143g/m² — slightly lighter than a typical wool base layer (around 150g/m²) — aimed at a balance between resisting see-through and year-round wearability.
The seams use flat-seam construction, a technique also used in competitive swimwear, to reduce seam bulk. It softens contact against the skin and cuts down on chafing even during long days carrying a pack.
Colors and styling notes
Available in 4 colors: Yawara Kinari (soft off-white), pale purple, Otona no Yamabuki (adult mountain yellow), and Yonaka no Navy (midnight navy). Yawara Kinari is a pale shade, so if see-through is a concern, pairing it with a gray or black crew-neck layer underneath works well. Wear it alone, as activewear through spring and summer, or as a mid-layer through fall and winter — it layers easily into any season.
