This product is a frameless backpack made of Dyneema® composite fabric. In order to achieve a bold weight reduction, it does not have an internal frame, and follows the orthodox style that has been widely used since the dawn of UL (Ultralight) with minimal functions such as a single chamber structure, front mesh pocket, and large side pockets.

The structure itself is very simple, but the balance of the pack as a whole and the detailed specifications greatly affect the comfort of wearing it. This product is designed with a slightly higher center of gravity, so the load is mainly concentrated from the upper back to the shoulders. The S-shaped shoulder straps are designed to fit the body well and maintain stability while distributing the load. The hip belt (optional) is intended to be used to suppress shaking, not to support the load.

The main fabric is made of Dyneema® composite fabric, which is highly waterproof and durable, and the inside is also treated with TNT seam tape. This gives it high water resistance and makes it suitable for changing weather conditions. Although it does not guarantee complete waterproofing, it provides reliable waterproofing in actual use.

The main body is designed to be somewhat slim, with a capacity of 30L (plus pockets for a total of about 45L). When packed with luggage, it expands vertically, so the center of gravity tends to be high, so it is practical to use a hip belt in combination to reduce shaking.

There is also a 20L model in the same series (total of about 35L), but the main difference between the two is the length of the top part. The 20L model has a side strap that holds the top down, while the 30L model uses a Y-shaped strap on the top. This allows the pack to be held down firmly even when there is only a small amount of luggage, and keeps the pack stable.

Due to the characteristics of the frameless structure, the overall weight of the equipment is a given. Even if the contents are the same, the comfort of carrying the pack will vary greatly depending on how it is packed, so a certain amount of experience and ingenuity is required when using it. Since the pack is not designed to support the load on the waist, there are times when the upper body, shoulders, back, and core are required to provide firm support.

However, if the equipment is appropriately lightened, it will be possible to use energy in forward movement rather than against gravity while reducing the burden on the body. As a result, it has the potential to move at a faster pace and continue moving for longer periods of time than before.

Its light weight and simple construction will prove effective on long trails in the snow-free season or on multi-night traverses.
