Approach shoes are generally thought of as "for accessing rocky terrain," but the TX5 LOW GTX goes beyond that category. This high-spec technical shoe can cover a wide range of mountain activities, from forest roads to rocky ridges, with a single pair of shoes.
Its unique lug pattern provides excellent mud shedding and agility, making it feel light enough to run in, while also being designed to reduce fatigue during long hours of activity. It's a shoe that can handle a variety of fields and weather conditions across three seasons, making Japanese mountains more accessible.

Vibram® Megagrip Outsole Adapts to various surfaces such as rocks, soil, and mud. Provides stable grip in both dry and wet conditions, making it suitable for any field.
Impact Brake System A unique lug pattern developed jointly with Vibram®. Enhances braking power and shock absorption on scree fields and steep slopes, reducing leg strain while maintaining performance.
GORE-TEX® Extended Comfort Lining Combines top-class waterproofing and breathability. Efficiently wicks away moisture from inside the shoe, while reliably protecting your feet from rain and wet conditions.
Nubuck Leather Upper Nubuck leather with minimized seams conforms to the natural lines of your foot. Utilizing the material's inherent flexibility, it provides a comfortable fit that adapts well even after long hours of use.
STB Control System A structure that integrally wraps the arch area of the midsole from the upper, improving fit and stability without increasing weight. Suppresses foot wobble and ensures reliable control on uneven terrain.
Reinforced Toe Cap & Rand Highly durable rubber is widely placed on the toe and sides. Increased thickness enhances abrasion resistance, protecting the shoes from rock contact and scuffs for a long time.
