Extremely Robust Full-Tang Construction
Among the Morakniv lineup, this is the toughest and most substantial high-end model. Its 3.2mm thick full-tang construction integrates the blade from tip to grip end, achieving overwhelming durability.
The blade is made from high-quality stainless steel by Swedish Alleima (formerly Sandvik). This sustainable steel, made from over 80% recycled material, is meticulously finished in-house. The sharp edge, characteristic of Scandinavian grind, is another appealing feature.
From Batoning to Fire Starting, All with One Knife
The thick blade is suitable for demanding tasks such as batoning and chopping. The grip end can also be used to cut thick branches.
Furthermore, the Scandinavian edge is ideal for wood carving, allowing for smooth creation of feather sticks. The blade spine and end are edged, enabling fire starting with a fire starter.
"Splitting → Carving → Fire Starting" — all completed with this one knife.
※Due to its thick blade, it is not suitable for delicate tasks such as slicing food.
Enhanced Preparedness with the Survival Kit
The included sheath features a fire starter and a diamond sharpener. By integrating them with the knife, you can start a fire whenever needed, and your gear remains compact.
The fire starter comes with a reflective paracord for improved visibility.
※The sharpener is for simple touch-ups. For thorough sharpening, we recommend using a whetstone.
※When the kit is not attached, it is identical to the standard model.
