This short-sleeve T-shirt uses "Axio Lite," a hybrid wool material uniquely tuned by Teton Bros.

During long activities like mountain climbing or mountain running, the amount of perspiration can vary greatly throughout the day depending on the intensity of the activity and the weather. Axio Lite combines the moisture-regulating and heat-retaining properties of wool, which prevents chilling even when wet, with the sweat-absorbing and quick-drying properties of polyester, which quickly wicks away sweat. With Axio Lite, you can maintain a comfortable microclimate inside your clothes, whether you're sweating during a strenuous climb or being exposed to the wind on a ridge.

"M-stitch" to minimize skin stress

As a base layer that touches the skin directly, we pay meticulous attention to the stitching. We use M-stitch, a special stitching method with minimal unevenness, also used for underwear. Because the seams are flat, it suppresses discomfort from chafing and skin damage even during long periods of wear when sweating.

Offset design to prevent backpack chafing

The shoulder seam lines are offset to the front. This prevents the seams from overlapping with backpack shoulder straps, effectively reducing chafing and pain caused by load during long walks or runs.

The secret of Teton Bros.' original "Axio Lite"

The base material, Axio, is a special yarn born in Bishu, a global wool production region. By wrapping wool fibers around a polyester core with a modified cross-section, the surface retains the feel of pure wool and its moisture-regulating, heat-retaining, and odor-resistant properties, while the polyester core quickly wicks away and disperses sweat.

Axio Lite, used in this product, is a fabric woven with this original Axio yarn and polyester yarn alternately in stripes. This provides even greater dispersion and stretch than a single material. Additionally, the unevenness of the stripes refracts light, making it difficult to see through despite being thin, and combines high breathability with anti-pilling performance.

Maintenance Instructions

Please be very careful when caring for your garment to maintain the performance of the wool for a long time.

• Hand washing recommended: Hand wash in water below 30°C with a neutral detergent, gently pressing the entire garment without kneading or scrubbing vigorously. (Temperatures above 30°C can cause shrinking and damage to the fabric.)

• Short washing time: Aim to complete washing and rinsing within a total of 3-5 minutes. (Leaving it in water for too long can cause the fibers to harden and felt.)

• Prohibited: Absolutely avoid using fabric softeners or bleach, tumble drying, or dry cleaning.

• Drying: After washing, gently remove excess water by wrapping it in a towel, reshape it, and lay it flat to dry in a well-ventilated, shaded area. Do not leave it wet with water or sweat for extended periods.
