Introduction
These gloves have a good balance of heat retention and moisture permeability, and are durable enough to operate smartphones and tablets.
Until now, RIDGE MOUNTAIN GEAR has been manufacturing and selling gloves using merino wool.
Although it was comfortable, the problem was that it lacked durability.
These gloves are used when hiking, so you can grip poles or chains. There are various scenes. The durability of merino wool was not enough to handle these tasks...
Therefore, we decided to use Polartec® Power Grid™, which has excellent durability and retains the grid shape that we have been using up until now.
Although they are more durable than previous merino wool gloves, please note that as they are cut and sewn products, there may be holes caused by friction in situations such as rocky areas.
The index finger and thumb are embroidered with conductive thread so that you can operate touch screens on smartphones and tablets while wearing gloves.
Please try this "Power Grid Glove".

Material
This product uses Polartec® Power Grid™.
The unique grid knit reduces fabric mass while increasing performance efficiency by increasing warmth and breathability. It suppresses cold air from outside and disperses hot air and sweat from inside, allowing it to escape to the outside.
The surface disperses moisture for more efficient sweat evaporation. The grid design creates open air channels that improve breathability and reduce fabric mass.
The skin side is knitted in a grid pattern. The raised part is hydrophilic and has the role of absorbing sweat vapor and releasing it to the outside.

Design
Most of the gloves on the market have a pattern (paper pattern) in which the thumb part and palm part are continuous. Gloves with these patterns limit the range of motion of the thumb and may feel a little cramped when you open your hand. This glove has an independent pattern in the boxed area in the image above, and is designed to support a wider range of motion for the thumb.
Smartphone touch function
The tips of the left and right thumbs and index fingers are embroidered with conductive thread.
You can operate touch panels such as smartphones and tablets while wearing gloves.
