A three-layer construction with an air space between two meshes, for warmth and heat release
The STATIC DOUBLECELL PULLOVER is a hoodless mid layer built from DOUBLECELL, an original fabric developed with a specialist factory in Japan. The face and back meshes are tied together with yarn, creating a space between them in a three-layer construction. It holds a space full of air while letting heat out through the mesh.
The material is 100% polyester with 32% recycled content, made from recycled polyester yarn that was sitting in the factory awaiting disposal. Size M weighs 170g.
A three-layer construction tying the face and back meshes
Rather than building warmth into one thick layer, DOUBLECELL ties the face and back meshes with yarn to create a space inside. That space carries the warmth, while the mesh structure gives heat a way out at the same time.
Unlike fleece, which traps air in a brushed surface, this fabric is not brushed. That also keeps the microplastics that come off brushed fabrics to a minimum.
A fabric for the shoulder seasons, when warmth and cold air mix
Less committed to insulation than fleece and different from a summer T-shirt, DOUBLECELL is a mid layer that takes easily to the shoulder seasons: spring into early summer, and autumn. It holds warmth while letting heat out, so it works through changes in temperature and effort.
A hoodless crew neck that layers easily
For Fall/Winter 2026 the series design was renewed. The PULLOVER is a crew neck in a roomy Relax+ fit. With no hood, another layer goes over the top easily, and a pocket with a snap button sits on the left chest.
DOUBLECELL, made from yarn that was awaiting disposal
The fabric puts to use recycled polyester yarn that was left in the factory awaiting disposal. Using recycled material works toward cutting CO2 emissions in yarn production.
Cutting waste from production is not discarded either: it is recycled into material for other products. The snap buttons are recycled polyester, and the tags and labels are 100% recycled polyester. No PP bag is used in shipping.
