Active-use warmth at just 19 g: an ultralight Octa®CPCP® mitten
The ADRIFT MITTEN uses TEIJIN's Octa®CPCP® mesh fleece as a single layer to warm your hands without weighing them down. A pair weighs only 19 g in size M. The construction lets you expose your fingertips quickly when you need them, so you can move on to fine tasks without taking the mittens off and your hands stay warmer in between. A carabiner loop makes them easy to clip to a pack or belt during breaks and on the move.

How Octa®CPCP® delivers light weight and heat management
Octa®CPCP® is a mesh fleece in which brushed hollow polyester fibres with a shaped cross-section are bonded to a mesh face fabric. Dead air held in the hollow cores and between the projections provides insulation, while the mesh structure lets heat and moisture escape. The fabric also absorbs and spreads sweat and dries quickly, so your hands are less likely to overheat or feel clammy. The material is normally used as a lining inside insulated products; here it is used as a fleece in its own right, which is what brings out the light weight and on-the-move comfort.
On the environmental side, part of the polyester is recycled (53% recycled polyester across the fabric), cutting CO2 emissions during fabric production by 23% compared with the equivalent virgin-fibre material. Dyeing uses biomass-derived rather than petroleum-derived inputs. Textile waste from fabric production is recycled, and the labels are made with recycled yarn as well.
