Carving knife specialized for woodworking
A knife dedicated to woodcarving, beloved by woodworkers worldwide. Its approximately 82mm long blade allows for long strokes, enabling the removal of a large amount of material at once, thus ensuring excellent work efficiency.
The blade tapers towards the tip, allowing for delicate tasks such as carving, hollowing out, and intricate work. It is also suitable for green woodworking.
Sharpness of laminated carbon steel
The blade is made of laminated carbon steel from Bonpertuis, France. The structure, where a carbon steel (approx. 1%) core is sandwiched between softer steel layers, provides both keen sharpness and tenacity.
It features a unique cutting sensation, where the blade seems to "stick" to the wood, and a highly durable edge.
※As it is prone to rust due to moisture, we recommend wiping off any moisture after use and maintaining it with oil.
Wooden handle that ages beautifully
The handle is made from FSC® certified Scandinavian birch wood. As you use it, its texture will deepen, and it will develop into a unique tool that is truly yours.
Additionally, leveraging the natural properties of wood, you can lightly sand it to fit your hand or adorn it with chip carving.
The full-length narrow tang construction ensures stable knife control.
