The Topo Athletic ULTRAVENTURE 5 is a women's trail running shoe with a 35mm heel and 30mm toe stack height and a 5mm drop.
This fifth generation keeps the stack height of the previous model while reworking the ZipFoam™ midsole. The soft, high-rebound feel that defines the Ultraventure carries over into a new design.
The outsole is Vibram® XS Trek. Rather than limiting the shoe to trail, the lug pattern and depth are drawn up with gravel and road in mind as well.
A 35mm / 30mm ZipFoam™ midsole
The midsole uses a reworked ZipFoam™.
Stack height is 35mm at the heel and 30mm at the toe, with a 5mm drop. Cushioning is medium, support is neutral, and flexibility is mid.
Stack height is unchanged from the previous model, keeping the soft, high-rebound feel of the Ultraventure line.
Vibram® XS Trek for changing ground
The outsole is Vibram® XS Trek.
It brings grip, traction and durability, with a lug pattern and depth designed to handle trail, gravel and road.
It suits routes where the surface shifts, running pavement and gravel on the way to the hills and carrying on into the trail.
A more durable mesh upper
The upper is a mesh built for durability.
The fit stays as it was, and the ULTRAVENTURE 5 newly works with the universal gaiter system. Fitting a gaiter keeps dirt, stones and twigs out of the shoe.
A Roomy Toe Box that lets your toes spread
The forefoot uses Topo Athletic's Roomy Toe Box.
It is shaped around the structure of the foot, leaving room for your toes to spread naturally.
Performance Insoles with rebound and odour control
The insole is a Performance Insole, with rebound and antibacterial properties.
APMA Seal of Acceptance
The ULTRAVENTURE 5 carries the APMA Seal of Acceptance, given to products that pass review by podiatrists.
