The Liberty from handson grip is a fleece glove built for both cold-weather activity and everyday use. Made entirely from POLARTEC Power Stretch Pro, it flexes naturally with hand movement. A touchscreen-friendly design that exposes the thumb and index fingertip, paired with a honeycomb grip print on the palm, balances dexterity with a secure hold. Available in Black, Red, and now Olive.

4-way stretch that stays out of your way

The 4-way stretch fabric follows the natural opening and closing of the hand and the bending of the fingers. It resists binding during repetitive fine movements, such as handling trekking poles or working a pack's buckles, and stays comfortable through long wear.

The thumb and index fingertip can be exposed when needed, giving a bare-hand feel for tasks such as tapping a smartphone screen, using a map app, or handling small items. Fold the tips back down when you need the warmth.

A palm print that resists slipping

A honeycomb print on the palm adds friction to help maintain grip. It makes trekking poles, bottles, and cameras easier to hold securely while on the move.

POLARTEC Power Stretch Pro combines stretch with a moderate level of warmth, giving the glove a fit that stays close to the hand. It adapts well to shifting temperatures during activity and works both on its own and layered underneath a shell glove.

About the maker

handson grip was born in Higashikagawa, Kagawa Prefecture, a small town on the Seto Inland Sea that accounts for roughly 90% of Japan's glove production. Around 60 years of accumulated technique and know-how go into shaping each product for modern use.
