Although originally intended for medical use, it is ideal for carrying alcohol fuel.
On average, it takes about 25-30ml of water to boil with a typical alcohol stove. It is easy to calculate the amount of alcohol you need to carry for your hike, and the measuring cup acts as a lid so there is no risk of leakage. It also has a dropper function, so you can dispense alcohol drop by drop, making it stress-free to use a small amount for preheating. Even if you dispense too much, the dropper can be sucked up into the main unit.
